Join us to celebrate the marriage of Katie Frost and Alex Bussey in the Catskill Mountains at the idyllic Onteora Mountain House in Boiceville, New York.

The Catskill Mountains are a special place for us. In 2023 we bought a cabin in Margaretville, a small village 30 minutes from Onteora Mountain House. We spent six months renovating the home (just the two of us!) and it is now our peaceful hideaway outside of the city. When it came time to choose where to wed, the Catskills was an easy choice for us. We can’t wait to welcome you to this enchanting pocket of New York. In this website you’ll find information about the wedding location and the venue, travel and lodging recommendations, and details on the day’s timeline. Getting here

Onteora Mountain House is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, about 30 minutes west of Kingston, New York's first capital city. The closest major airport is Albany International Airport (ALB), though you are likely to find many more flight options via each of New York City's three airports, LaGuardia (LGA), Kennedy (JFK), and Newark (EWR). We recommend LaGuardia. The venue has plenty of on-site parking available, but we will also be arranging for transportation to/from the Courtyard hotel in Kingston.

Where to stay

In addition the Courtyard Kingston, there are a number of budget friendly hotels in Kingston, including Residence Inn, which is across the street from the Courtyard, and Holiday Inn Express. Another excellent option is the Emerson Resort and Spa, just a five minute drive from the venue.

We have reserved a block of rooms at Courtyard Kingston and transportation will be provided from the Courtyard to the venue.

We are providing a shuttle from the Courtyard and the Emerson hotels. Departure times:Courtyard - 2:30 PMEmerson - 3:05 PM Look for the school bus with the sign for the Frost - Bussey wedding. At Emerson, please wait near the east end of the property (near the gift shop and kaleidoscope) We will offer three return shuttles departing the wedding venue:7:50 PM (after cake)9:00 PM (at the end of the reception)11:00 pm (after the after party) Plenty of on-site parking is also available.
